Description

Small vintage Japanese chest of drawers, sewing chest or jewellery box etc with two short drawers over a longer one. Probably made in the 1980s though it's hard to be sure. The outside is made in a hard wood, possibly kiri wood, while the drawers are plywood inside. Metal drop handles. There's a hand painted flowering tree motif across the front. Condition is pretty good: structurally sound; one small split on the back plinth but it's nothing much. Cosmetically there are a few scuffs and marks, mostly from old labels, one of which we've left on cos it's so damn authentic.. Dimensions: 24cm wide x 22cm x 17cm high
